— Consolations, David Whyte
By allowing myself to follow what I could not explain, I have learned to trust myself to take risks. It taught me to embrace what I can't predict, to be comfortable with doubt, and to find magic in the unknown. Sometimes the things we need the most are the very things we cannot see or plan for.
My life has always been fuelled by the not knowing who I was going to be next. One day I decided I was going to be a Photographer. Not part-time, not as a hobby, not a "maybe eventually I'll do something I truly enjoy". It was that knowing you know wholeheartedly and you cannot look away.
And it made me whole.
Not because I found out who I was going to be forever or what my life purpose is, this is too big and maybe too mythical.
It made me whole but because I allowed something that needed to exist
to exist through me.
